Muqira never lets AI usage silently overspend past what your plan covers — every plan has a hard monthly AI-spend ceiling built in. If you're approaching a limit, you'll see it in your dashboard before it becomes a problem, and you can upgrade at any time to raise it.

Yes, anytime, from your billing dashboard. Upgrades apply immediately. Downgrades (including to the Free plan) take effect at the end of your current billing period, so you keep what you already paid for.
