Refund & Cancellation Policy

How to cancel your subscription and when a refund applies.

Overview
This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for paid subscriptions to any Muqira product (Muqira AI Studio, Muqira Flow, SEOventra, AlShorty, Documateo). It applies alongside our Terms of Service.

Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account's billing settings. Cancellation stops future renewal charges — it does not automatically refund the current billing period. When you cancel, you retain access to your paid plan's features until the end of the Subscription Period you've already paid for. After that, your account moves to the free plan (where one exists for that product) or is restricted, subject to the applicable plan limits.

Refund eligibility
Because Muqira's paid plans grant access to metered AI usage and platform features from the moment of purchase, refund requests are reviewed individually rather than issued automatically. We will consider a refund where: • You were charged due to a verified billing or technical error on our part • A payment was duplicated or processed in error • You did not use any metered AI credits or paid features during the billing period in question, and request a refund within 7 days of the charge We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods where the plan's features were used, for AI usage credits already consumed, or for dissatisfaction with AI-generated output quality, since output quality depends on the underlying third-party AI provider and the input you provided.

How to request a refund
Email [email protected] with your account email and the payment/invoice reference. We aim to respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method via Razorpay and may take 5–10 business days to reflect, depending on your bank or card issuer.

Taxes on refunds
Where GST or another applicable tax was charged on the original payment, an approved refund will include the corresponding tax component. A credit note will be issued for GST-registered business customers in accordance with applicable Indian tax rules once Muqira's GST registration is complete (GSTIN — [pending registration]).

Failed or disputed payments
If a payment fails, we retry automatically as described in our Terms of Service. If you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer ("chargeback") without contacting us first, we reserve the right to suspend your account while the dispute is investigated.

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated the same way as changes to our Terms of Service.
