Data Processing Addendum
Last updated: July 2026
For business customers who need a signed data processing agreement to meet their own compliance obligations.
01
What a DPA covers
A Data Processing Addendum (DPA) is a supplementary agreement that governs how Muqira processes personal data on behalf of a business customer, where that customer is itself a data controller/fiduciary under applicable law (GDPR, UK GDPR, India's DPDP Act, or similar frameworks). It typically covers the scope and purpose of processing, sub-processor authorisation, security measures, breach notification, international transfer mechanisms, and audit rights.
02
Who needs one
If your organisation uses Muqira products to process personal data belonging to your own customers, employees, or other individuals — and you are subject to GDPR, UK GDPR, India's DPDP Act, or a similar data-protection law that requires a written processing agreement with your vendors — you should have a signed DPA with Muqira in place.
03
Requesting a DPA
Email [email protected] with your organisation's legal name, the Muqira product(s) you use, and your primary jurisdiction. We'll send our standard DPA for review, incorporating our current subprocessor list and security measures as described in our Privacy Policy and Security Disclosure Policy. We're happy to discuss reasonable amendments for enterprise customers; contact [email protected] to start that conversation.
